2010 Second Quarter Neighborhood Watch Meeting

The first Neighborhood Watch meeting of the year began with a discussion of the 2010 Census and what residents can expect to see in the coming months as Census workers begin going door to door. Attendees were briefed on what types of questions Census workers will be asking as well what to do if they suspect a person is impersonating a Census worker. Residents can expect to see Census workers going door to door in Barrington Hills starting in May.

The meeting then moved on to discussing vacation home safety. A video was shown that gave some useful home safety tips and two handouts were distributed. The first handout contained some simple home safety tips. The second handout was an inventory sheet intended to record important information such as serial numbers from valuable items.
