2009 Third Quarter Neighborhood Watch Meeting

The October 22, 2009 Neighborhood Watch meeting was well attended. Block captain identification cards were distributed. Those in attendance also created laminated I.C.E. (In Case of Emergency) cards. I.C.E. cards contain identity information as well as information on whom to contact in the event of an emergency. Recent crimes were discussed as well as neighborhood specific issues. With the holiday season quickly approaching, common Internet scams and methods of protecting oneself from them was also a topic of discussion. Three handouts were given that addressed this subject.
