The most recent Barrington Hills Village Zoning Map was published in 2008. Changes in Zoning occur as part of the Village's formal ZBA process which includes, as required, approval by the Board of Trustees. Zoning is addressed at formal open public meetings which are posted in advance according to Illinois State law. A snapshot of the 2008 Zoning Map is shown below. Statistics & Census
The official Village of Barrington Hills website, www.barringtonhills-il.gov, has links to statistics for the Village, specifically the 2000 Census.
In 2009 Census workers are going door to door in the Village to gather each address. Villagers are asked to cooperate fully to get a "Complete Count." Go to the Census 2010 Page and stay informed. Watch for Village Newsletters and other mailings from the Census Bureau and comply at each opportunity to help maintain village funding and resources.
