Let Us Contact You
You may choose to subscribe for the following selected services:
Newsletter
The Communications Committee has two means to send the Village Newsletter to residents. One means is via the US Mail. The second means is electronic notification. If you authorize the Newsletter to be sent to your email address, you will be added to the standing Village Newsletter Mailing List. If you have not been receiving regular Newsletters, please send an email to clerk@barringtonhills-il.gov and include "Newsletter List" in the email header. Include your correct postal address and/or email address inside the email.
Police Emergency Notification via Blackboard CTY
The Village has a reverse 9-1-1 system called CTY for proactive notification to residents in the event of a police emergency. The system is used on a limited basis for emergency road closing and severe weather notification. Residents who are signed up for this service have responded favorably. There are two ways to sign up. The easiest method is to go to the www.barringtonhills-il.gov mega portal, click on the government website image, then click on CTY from the government home page. The second method is to notify the Village Clerk and ask for assistance. Your personal reach information will remain confidential. You can choose from a variety of options including notification to an alternate person such as a house sitter, a child care or an elder care worker. As you change email service providers, cell phone numbers or home telephone numbers, please update your CTY contact list.
Twitter

The Village has a Twitter account: www.twitter.com/BarrHills_IL. Short messages are tweeted such as Village meeting notifications. If you have a Twitter account, you can sign up to follow the Village of Barrington Hills' tweets.
