Pace Vanpool Incentive Program

Now your workday commute can save you money and time! Vanpooling is an economical, convenient, and environmentally-friendly alternative to driving alone.

A Pace vanpool is formed by identifying 5 to 13 people headed to the same workplace or points along the way. Riders determine the timing and the routing. They pay a monthly fare based on the number of riders and distance traveled. The back-up driver receives a monthly discount. Participants who utilize automated debit receive a 4% discount on fares or the monthly rate can be paid with pre-tax dollars through the Commuter Choice Benefit program.

The Pace Vanpool Incentive Program has been helping Illinois, northwestern Indiana and southeastern Wisconsin residents while reducing transportation costs, turning commute time into quality time and relieving traffic congestion, air pollution and parking problems since 1991.

The Pace Vanpool Program offers:

• 300-personal miles per month
• 100 additional miles per month for fueling and maintenance
• Gas, maintenance and van wash credit cards
• I-PASS transponder
• Liability, collision and comprehensive insurance
• 24-hour roadside assistance daily
• Loaner vans
• An emergency ride home program

A Traditional Vanpool can get you directly to work and the Metra Feeder Vanpool can connect you with the nearest train station.
