Meet at the CFC headquarters at 459 West Highway 22 in Lake Barrington. Look for the white farmhouse with a silo across from Good Shepherd Hospital. Bring work gloves, dress for the weather. BACOA, The Garlands of Barrington, the Barrington Park District and other local park districts will sponsor an evening of dancing, live music and dinner at The Garlands on Friday, June 19 at 5 p.m. Singles and couples are welcome; music by Vito Buffalo. Cost $48, w/ buffet supper. Beer and wine purchased. Registration deadline is June 1; to register, call Linda Avellon at BACOA at (847) 852-3892. Free pontoon boat rides, sponsor exhibits, health screenings, bingo, horseshoes, swimming, native garden tours, at Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville.
