Park behind the Barrington Riding Center, 361 Bateman Road, Barrington
Hills. It's on the east side of Bateman Road north of Algonquin Road.

Directions to our worksites:

Headwaters: On Higgins Rd. (Rt. 72) north of 1-90 and west of Sutton
Rd./Rt. 59. Turn north onto Wichman Rd.

Spring Lake Nature Preserve: Park on east side of Bateman Rd. about ½
mile south of Lake Cook.

Penny Road Pond Penny Rd is north of Higgins Rd.(Rt.72) and south of
Dundee Rd.(Rt.68). From Rt. 59, go west on Penny, cross Sutton, go about
a mile and the parking lot will be on the south side of the road. Park and
follow signs to work site if late.

Healy Road Savanna: Go north on old Healy Road from Higgins Rd.
(Rt.72),west of Headwaters and just west of Beverly Lake. The entrance is
normally closed, but will be open for the workdays

Spring Creek Valley Prairie: Take Bateman to Long Meadow which is
between Dundee Rd. ( Rt.68) and Algonquin Rd. Park on Long Meadow.
Entrance to prairie is across Bateman. Follow signs to site.

Steeplechase Meadow: Park behind the Riding Center which is on the
east side of Bateman Rd. 1/8 mile north of Algonquin Rd ( Rt. 62) .
